The NVIDIA Control Panel lets you set GPU options specifically for CS2. The right values give stable FPS and lower latency.

🔧 Where to set it

  • Right-click the desktop → NVIDIA Control Panel.

  • 3D Settings → Manage 3D settings → Program Settings.

  • Select Counter-Strike 2 (cs2.exe). If it is not listed, click Add and choose cs2.exe from the game\bin\win64 folder.

  • Power management mode: Prefer maximum performance.

  • Low Latency Mode: On (if Reflex is enabled in the game, it overrides this anyway).

  • Vertical sync: Off.

  • Texture filtering — Quality: High performance.

  • Threaded optimization: On.

  • Shader Cache Size: 10 GB or Unlimited.

  • Max Frame Rate: Off (it is easier to cap in game with fps_max).

  • Preferred refresh rate: Highest available.

🎯 Color and clarity

In Display → Adjust desktop color settings you can raise Digital vibrance to 60–70% — colors become more saturated and models stand out more.

⚠️ Important

Update your driver via GeForce Experience / NVIDIA App or the NVIDIA website first. After any driver update, check that your settings are still there.
