Grenade binds in CS2: pick the right grenade instantly

By default all grenades are on the 4 key, and you need several presses to get the one you want. A separate bind for each grenade saves time.

🔧 Slot commands

bind "z" "slot6"
bind "x" "slot7"
bind "c" "slot8"
bind "v" "slot10"
bind "b" "slot9"

• slot6 — HE grenade.

• slot7 — flashbang.

• slot8 — smoke.

• slot9 — decoy.

• slot10 — molotov / incendiary.

📌 Which keys to use

Keys near WASD are the most comfortable: Z, X, C, V, plus your mouse side buttons. Check that the key is not already used for something important.

🎯 Tip

If you bound a key that had another action (e.g. radio), move the old action to another key in Settings → Keyboard / Mouse.

⚠️ Saving

Add the binds to autoexec.cfg so they are not lost after updates.
