How to play T side in CS2
Basic attacking strategy in CS2: defaults, site executes, utility usage, planting and holding the bomb post-plant.
The T side's goal is to plant the bomb and stop the defuse, or eliminate all CTs. Time is limited, so do not waste it.
📌 Round structure
Early (0:00–0:30): gather info, take map control, do not die for nothing.
Mid-round: decide which site to hit based on team info.
Execute: the whole team hits a site together with utility.
Post-plant: hold the bomb from different positions.
🔧 The default
A default spreads Ts across the map to control areas and look for a weak spot. Nobody goes in alone; everyone waits for info or the IGL's call.
💥 Executing a site
First smokes that block CT positions and rotation paths.
Then flashes right before entering.
Molotovs clear CTs out of common corners.
Go in together so you can trade each other.
🎯 Post-plant
Take positions that see the bomb but are hard to find.
Do not push CTs — let them come to you under time pressure.
Keep a molotov or HE to stop the defuse.
⚠️ Mistakes
Entering one by one, 5 seconds apart.
Using all utility at the start of the round.
Ignoring the clock: a plant in the last seconds almost always loses.
