Weekly drops in CS2: how to get cases and items
How weekly rewards work in CS2: what you need for a drop, how to choose items and why you might not get one.
Once a week in CS2 you can get free items — cases, graffiti and weapon skins. You need Prime status and to play official modes.
📌 How it works
Play Valve's official modes and earn XP.
On your first level-up of the week you get a weekly reward package.
The package offers several items, and you choose two.
You choose on the game's main screen after the match in which you levelled up.
🔧 Requirements
Prime status — without it you earn no XP or rewards.
Playing on Valve's official servers. Third-party servers give no XP.
🎯 How to get it faster
Full matches in Competitive, Premier and Casual give the most XP.
The first matches of the week give bonus XP; after that it decreases.
⚠️ Why you got no drop
You already got this week's reward — the next one comes after the weekly reset.
You do not have Prime.
You only played on third-party servers or against bots.
💡 Tip
You can sell dropped cases on the Steam Community Market if you do not want to buy a key to open them.
