How to transfer CS2 settings to another PC

Two ways to move your sens, binds and crosshair to a new PC: through Steam Cloud and manually with config files.

If you play on a new computer, in an internet cafe or at a friend's place, you can move your settings in a couple of minutes.

☁️ Method 1: Steam Cloud

CS2 saves your main settings and binds to Steam Cloud automatically.

In Steam, right-click CS2 → Properties → General.
Make sure "Keep games saves in the Steam Cloud" is enabled.
On the new PC, log in to the same account and launch the game — settings will be pulled automatically.

📁 Method 2: manually

On the old PC, copy this folder:

Steam\userdata\YOUR_ID\730\local\cfg

Also copy autoexec.cfg from game\csgo\cfg if you have one.
On the new PC, launch CS2 at least once, then close it.
Paste the files into the same folders, replacing the existing ones.

🎯 Quick crosshair transfer

Copy your crosshair code in Settings → Crosshair → Share or Import. On the other PC, click Import and paste the code.

⚠️ What does not transfer

It is better to set up cs2_video.txt (graphics) again — resolution and performance differ between PCs.
Steam launch options also need to be entered manually.
