How to play stretched 4:3 in CS2 on AMD
Setting up stretched 4:3 in CS2 on AMD graphics cards through AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition.
On AMD graphics cards, stretched resolution is enabled through GPU scaling in AMD Software.
🔧 Step 1. AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition
Right-click the desktop → AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition.
Open Gaming → Display (in some versions — Settings → Display).
Turn on GPU Scaling.
Scaling Mode: Full panel.
The screen may flicker — that is normal.
📌 Step 2. CS2 settings
Display Mode: Fullscreen.
Aspect Ratio: Normal 4:3.
Resolution: 1280×960 or 1024×768.
🎯 If it does not stretch
Turn GPU Scaling off and on again.
Make sure CS2 is not running windowed or in "fullscreen windowed".
Update your AMD driver to the latest version.
Create a custom 1280×960 resolution in Display → Custom Resolutions if the game does not list it.
⚠️ Tip
If your monitor is plugged into the CPU's integrated graphics, AMD GPU settings will not apply — connect the cable to the graphics card.
