A rush is the whole team hitting one site fast at the start of a round. It works through speed and surprise.

📌 When a rush works

  • The enemy does not expect a fast hit — for example, after several slow rounds.

  • The enemy has few players on that site in their usual setup.

  • You have good weapons against a weak CT economy.

  • In pistol rounds and against ecos.

🔧 How to rush properly

  • Run as a whole team almost simultaneously — a 5-second gap kills a rush.

  • Bring flashes and throw them right before entering.

  • Smoke the CT rotation or the AWP spot.

  • The first two players clear different corners, the rest trade.

⚠️ When a rush fails

  • The enemy hears you and has already molotoved the entrance.

  • You rush the same site every round — CTs adapt quickly.

🎯 Tip

Running with the knife out is faster, but pull out your weapon before you reach line of sight — otherwise the first enemy kills you while you switch.
