No connection to CS2 game servers: inventory not loading
What to do if your CS2 inventory will not load, matchmaking is unavailable or the game says there is no connection to the game coordinator.
The game coordinator is Valve's server that handles your inventory, matchmaking and profile. Without a connection, your inventory is empty and the queue button is unavailable.
📌 Signs
The inventory does not load or is empty.
You cannot start matchmaking.
A message says there is no connection to the game servers.
🔧 What to do
Wait 5–15 minutes. These are often temporary issues on Valve's side — especially during weekly maintenance on Tuesday/Wednesday and right after updates.
Fully restart CS2 and Steam.
Make sure Steam is Online, not in offline mode.

Turn off VPNs and proxies.
Reset DNS:
ipconfig /flushdns.Allow
cs2.exeandsteam.exethrough the firewall.
🎯 How to tell it is not you
If your friends' inventories do not load either, the problem is on the server side. All you can do is wait.
⚠️ Important
An empty inventory during a coordinator outage does not mean your items are gone. They will reappear once the connection is restored.
