How to play entry fragger in CS2
Tips for the player who goes into the site first: preparation, flashes, crosshair placement, speed and why an entry dying is fine.
The entry fragger is the player who enters the site first. Their job is to get the opening kill, or at least reveal enemy positions for a trade.
📌 The main job
The entry does not have to survive. If they die but a teammate trades them right away and the team takes the site, they did their job.
🔧 Preparing the entry
Know the standard defensive positions on the site.
Agree in advance who flashes for you and when.
Pre-aim the most likely angle.
⚡ The entry itself
Go in right after the flash — while the enemy is blind.
Clear angles one at a time instead of trying to watch everything.
Move fast but stop before shooting.
A wide swing beats a slow edge peek.
