Crosshair disappeared in CS2: how to get it back
Why your crosshair vanished in CS2 and how to restore it: alpha, size, HUD, sniper rifles and resetting via a crosshair code.
If your crosshair disappeared in CS2, one of the crosshair or HUD settings is usually to blame. It is easy to bring back.
📌 Sniper rifles
The AWP, SSG 08, SCAR-20 and G3SG1 have no crosshair when unscoped — that is normal. The scope appears when you press RMB.
🔧 Check crosshair settings
Settings → Crosshair.
Check alpha (transparency) — at zero the crosshair is invisible.
Check line length and thickness — at zero the crosshair vanishes.
Make sure the color does not blend into the map.
🖥️ The whole HUD is gone
If health and ammo disappeared too, the HUD is probably disabled. Run in the console:
cl_drawhud 1
🎯 Quick reset
In Settings → Crosshair, pick a default crosshair style.
Or re-import your crosshair code via "Share or Import".
⚠️ Tip
Keep your crosshair code in your notes — you can restore it in a second after a settings reset or on another PC.
