How to communicate with your team in CS2 (callouts)
What and how to say in CS2 voice chat: short useful calls, info after death and what not to do.
Good communication wins rounds even without great aim. The key is to be short, relevant and on time.
📌 What to report
How many enemies and where: "two in banana".
Damage: "one is 20 HP, no helmet".
Weapons: "one AWP mid".
Utility: "smoke on A, flashes coming".
Movement: "they are rotating B".
🔧 Call formula
Number → location → details. For example: "Three long, one AWP, they flashed."
🎯 After you die
Say right away where and by whom you were killed and how much damage you did.
Then stay quiet if a teammate is in a clutch — let them hear footsteps.
⚠️ What not to do
Do not shout or flame: teams play worse under stress.
Do not discuss mistakes mid-round — only between rounds and calmly.
Avoid long sentences: the situation changes while you talk.
💡 Tip
Learn the callouts on the maps you play. Without them, "he's there" is useless.
