AK-47 spray control in CS2

The AK-47 kills with one headshot at any range, even through a helmet. But its recoil is strong, and without spray control your shots go into the ceiling after 4–5 bullets.

📌 How the recoil works

• Bullets 1–10: the crosshair goes almost straight up. Pull your mouse down.

• Bullets 10–20: the recoil goes right, then left. Pull in the opposite direction.

• Bullets 20–30: left-right again in small jerks.

The pattern is always the same, so it can be learned. There is some random spread, but your mouse controls the main path.

🔧 When to use what

• Tap (1 shot): long range. Shoot with a ~0.5 s pause between shots.

• Burst (2–4 bullets): medium range.

• Spray: close range or several enemies at once.

🎯 How to practice

• Start a bot game, type sv_cheats 1 and sv_infinite_ammo 1.

• Spray at a wall from 10–15 meters and look at the bullet hole pattern.

• Get the first 10 bullets into one spot, then learn the rest.

• Workshop maps like Recoil Master show the recoil path.

⚠️ Tips

• Always stop before spraying (counter-strafe).

• Aim at head or neck level — the first bullets go up.
