AMD Adrenalin settings for CS2
Optimal AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition settings for CS2 on Radeon cards: Anti-Lag, Chill, Boost and filtering.
On Radeon cards it is best to create a separate CS2 profile in AMD Software so global settings do not interfere with the game.
🔧 Where to set it
Open AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition.
Go to Gaming → Games and select Counter-Strike 2. If it is missing, add it via Add a Game and choose
cs2.exe.
📌 Recommended values
Radeon Anti-Lag: Off. Instead, enable AMD Anti-Lag 2 directly in the CS2 video settings — it is built into the game.
Radeon Chill: Off — it limits FPS.
Radeon Boost: Off — it lowers resolution while you move.
Radeon Image Sharpening: optional, 50–80% makes the image sharper.
Enhanced Sync: Off.
Wait for Vertical Refresh: Always off.
Texture Filtering Quality: Performance.
Tessellation Mode: Override application settings, Off.
🎯 Good to know
In 2023 the old Anti-Lag+ feature caused VAC bans in CS2, and AMD withdrew it. Only use Anti-Lag 2 built into the game, or nothing at all.
⚠️ Tip
A major driver update can sometimes reset the profile — check it if your FPS suddenly drops.
